PTFA
Welcome to the Vigo Village PTFA. Whether you are a new family joining our school, already have children in school, or are returners with younger children, the PTFA is open to you.
The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association is run as a charity by the parents, teachers and friends of Vigo Village School. The main role is fundraising to provide the school with extra equipment, activities and resources to make learning more exciting for the children. Examples of this include murals in the infant playground, a trip to the ballet, new recorders, Easter egg hunts and an end of year disco for all the children.
The PTFA also provides opportunities and events for parents, staff and pupils to get together socially at events such as our quizzes or bingo nights, encouraging closer links between the school, home and community.
The only reason the PTFA works as well as it does is due to the volunteers who provide their time (no matter how small) and their ideas - parents and teachers alike. We are always looking for new people to join us and would love to hear from you. Please contact the office, speak to a teacher or visit our Vigo Village School PTFA Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/3266276923675508/
